So, it finally launched. Watch me not buy anything from Sony BMG until they’re on board.
Looks like there might be a kink or two still to be worked out however…

Intelligent Design in Australia
I can’t believe this whole Intelligent Design being taught as science thing has reached Australia.
Thankfully the headlines, as you can see above, sit pretty solidly on my side, but as I think I’ve said before, it’s sad that this even needs discussion. Don’t want to believe in evolution? Fine with me, but as far as science in concerned there is no credible alternative. Want to teach creationism as religion? Fine with me, as long as the distinction between science and religion is made clear.
Science and religion are almost entirely orthogonal ways of understanding the world, and will only truly be reconciled in your own mind. Nothing will be gained by teaching ’science’ which doesn’t stand up to scientific analysis, except perhaps a generation of children who do not understand the scientific method as well as they might have.
Anyway, enough ranting. I’ll finish with a link to another news.com.au story.
No flyer yet, but we’ve got another impro show on the Sunday the 6th of November, once again at the Street Theatre here in Canberra. I’m very lucky to have Richard, who indirectly convinced me to try this whole impro thing to begin with, coming down from Sydney to play in my team for this show, so hopefully we’ll do well.
Oh, and ‘Whose line is it anyway’ seems to be back on TV again. Man I wish I had a PVR.
iTMS Australia - This time for sure
…another round of rumours about the Australian launch of the iTunes Music Store. I really hope it shows up this time.
I discovered something quite strange a few days ago. Trying to copy the body text out of the PDF will give you gibberish like the following.
