Someone seems to have tried to force the lock on the passenger side door of my car with a screwdriver or similar. This is really frustrating, especially since nothing was stolen and the ruined lock and dents they caused along the way will cost me far more to fix than the value of anything in the car. You’re really got to wonder about some people, particularly given that I was parked near a busy shopping centre in broad daylight at the time. Luckily I can still open the door from inside, although it’s getting progressively harder to do which is not a good sign.

The humorous part of the whole thing is that the only thing in plain sight within the car was a law textbook.
