Next week the company I’ve been working is over the last few years is having a small party with the team from our biggest customer to ‘celebrate’ our closing down. We’re a few weeks away from finishing up, but most of our staff have already headed off on new adventures, so I’m imagining things will be pretty small and subdued. I’m supposed to bring some garlic bread, but haven’t quite decided if I should try to show off or just go for something really simple.

It’s a pity to see our company end with all of us just walking away (I guess it just doesn’t mesh with my stubborn nature), but I am proud of what we managed to achieve along the way, even if we didn’t win as such. It’s also nice to know that our work will be living on internally for our customers for quite a while to come, even if it’s never going to be taking the world by storm.

Anyway, I guess that’s all there is to say. I’m glad to have worked in company building things I could be proud of, no matter how things end.
